● Meeting called to order at 4:03

○ Present: Art Shotwell, Simone Caracciolo, Cele Westlake, Kippy Strandberg, Bruce Janicula, Donna Cunningham, Suzanne Metcalfe, Joan Mickleson

● Approval of Minutes of Aug. 10, 2023: Cele moved/ Simone seconded/ Approved
● President’s Report - Art Shotwell: Preliminary budget meeting coming up. Discussed a few things to consider going into next year.
● Staff report - Donna Cunningham: No report.
● Vice-President’s Report Simone Caracciolo: No report
● Secretary’s Report - Suzanne Metcalfe: No report
● Treasurer’s Report - Cele Westlake
○ Current Finances: Cele would like to move some money from operating accounts
into reserve
○ CD Investment Update: We bought a CD and have generated some
interest—more than the bank. 4.25% annual.
● Landscape Report - Bruce Janicula
○ Additional trimming done for overhanging branches
○ Fall fertilizing of grass completed
○ Sprinkler system completely updated and closed for winter
○ May need to replace some shrubbery (approximately 6 or more depending on the
winter) next year. No funds available this year.
● Unfinished Business
○ Fence: recommend do a third of the fence until we discover the ownership of current fence. Bids for entire length $8,000-$11,000 ish. Bruce will get bids.
● New Business
○ The board thanks Simone for her donation to the ice cream social.
○ The board thanks Bruce for his dedication and hard work.
○ 2024 Preliminary Budget Discussion
○ Proposed Reserve Account Policy discussed
