CEDAR SPRINGS HOMEOWNER’S ASSOCIATION
MINUTES WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2022
PRESENT: Art Shotwell, Kippy Strandberg, Bruce Janicula, Joan Mickelson, and Donna Cunningham, Cele Westlake
ABSENT: Simone Caracciolo, Suzanne Metcalfe
GUESTS: Rick Bunzel, Paul Stannert
CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 4:00 PM.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Kippy Strandberg made a motion to approve the September 14, 2022 minutes. The motion was seconded and passed.
PRESIDENT’S REPORT: Art Shotwell had noting to report. SECRETARY’S REPORT: There was no report.
TREASURER’S REPORT: All accounts are currently within budget.
LANDSCAPE REPORT: Bruce Janicula reported that a few shrubs were removed, sprinklers were turned off, some sprinkler update work was completed, some trees boarding the Church property were removed, and trimming work had been done.
Bruce stated the completed landscape work stayed within the Landscape Budget.
Bruce explained Fence construction along the Church property was started November 27th. The fence will be a 5 foot chain link fence. The Church said they would plant shrubs along their side of the new fence.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Donna Cunningham presented the summary of repairs outlined by the company Home Maintenance Central. The Board had questions concerning whose responsibility it would be for some of the suggested repairs. The Board will investigate this further and make recommendations in the future.
NEW BUSINESS: Rick Bunzel, from the Pacific Crest Reserves, reviewed the completed 2022 Cedar Springs Reserve Study. The Board will use this as a guide when planning the 2023 Budget.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: The next Board meeting will be December 7th at 5:00 PM at the Windermere Conference Room.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:30 PM.
